Westbury-sub-Mendip is a village with a population of about 800, situated on the southern slopes of the Mendip Hills half-way between the cathedral city of Wells and the world-famous Cheddar Gorge. Glastonbury, famous for its Abbey and music festival, is about fifteen minutes away. Bristol Airport, now served by low-cost airlines, can be reached in less than half an hour. A choice of bed & breakfast and self-catering accommodation is available within the village.

There have been two previous versions of a  web site for the village providing a snapshot of community life in this attractive Somerset village; they included useful links to a wide range of local and national web sites. Both of these websites are archived safely.

The most recent version of the website had become insecure and has been replaced with this temporary version. If you relied on the content or would simply like to have your content uploaded, please contact Ben Clay at Evolution Computing.
