| As last year, the traditional Friendly Society Club Day will take place over two days on the late Spring Bank Holiday weekend. Sunday will start with the fancy dress assembling at the Old Vicarage on School Hill, followed by the parade through the village led by the banner and Wells City Band to the Westbury Inn. After the roll call of Friendly Society members, the parade continues to the church for the annual Club Day service, after which there will be lunch in the Village Hall -- detailed time table to be published shortly, and, for details of Club Day sports and Church Fete, see 26th May. |
