August 2009. How it all began |

Orgainised by Andrew Buchanan, the residents of The Square enjoyed a tea party on August Bank Holiday Monday. On a beautiful afternoon, chairs, tables - some with posh cloths, tea services and home made cakes were wheeled out and set beside the old disused 'phone box. Some of us who couldn't wait for the sun to go down over the yard arm brought alcoholic beverages. |

And the BT National winners are............ |
| The winning entries in the BT competition were announced on Monday 7th December. Sadly, we were not winners, but we did receive a BT special award of £500 for our community based entry.
Villagers will be asked for suggestions on how this money could best be used to benefit their village community. After considering this, the Parish Council will decide on how the £500 will be spent. The cheque for £500 ..... | |

Bob Dolby is our Parish Councellor who's brief was to find a use for the decommissioned BT box in The Square. In his wisdom, he decided to keep a diary of events and this is it. It is a work in progress - he never knows when the next request from the world media will arrive. We will add to the diary as events occur. |
