Parish Meetings are held at least once in each year, between 1st March and 1st June, and at other times as needed. Parish Meetings are chaired by the Parish Council Chairman, and by tradition the annual Parish Meeting is used for presenting annual reports, and is an opportunity to invite an external speaker to address a topic of local interest. Residents who are on the electoral role may vote at Parish Meetings. Parish Meeting votes are not binding on the Parish Council or other tiers of local government, but they may be used to inform decision making by these authorities.
