| Westbury Sub Mendip Parish Council |
|
Parish Councils are the most local tier of local government in England and Wales, and play an important part in maintaining village amenities, such as footpaths, and in the processing of planning applications for new buildings. Councillors are elected as individuals, not as representatives of political parties. Members of the public are welcome to attend all meetings and there is an opportunity for parishioners to speak on any issue or concern at the beginning of each meeting. PC MEMBERS CLERK TO THE PARISH COUNCIL: Dates, Times and Venues for Parish Council meetings are listed on the Village Diary (the following page is a blank placeholder)
