Quiz Master Martin Harrington   Raffle Draw	QUIZ Two new teams, the Village Idiots and Half B fought their way into the top three of this year's Quiz. But neither managed to defeat last year's runners-up Simple Minds for the top prize. Martin Harrington was Quiz Master, and we are again grateful to him for spending so much time devising the questions. CHRISTMAS RAFFLE Quiz sessions alternated with drawing the seventy prize-winning tickets in the Christmas Raffle. This year's top prize was a digital radio, and was won by Philip Hawthorn. The Raffle makes the biggest contribution to the Friendly Society's fund-raising effort, and makes it possible to run events like the Senior Citizen's Outing and Club Day. We would like to thank everyone who donated such a wonderful array of prizes, and to all those who supported the raffle by buying tickets. PARISH PLAN QUESTIONNAIRE £50 PRIZE DRAW This year there was a bonus draw awarded by the Parish Plan Steering Committee as an incentive for people to complete the questionnaire. This produced an impressive 87% response rate, and the lucky winners of the £50 prize draw were Malcolm and Linda Mogford.
