With Betty Hole, Chairman of
the Friends of Westbury Church

On
Sunday 30th January, 2005, the Right Reverend Peter Price, Bishop of
Bath and Wells led the morning service at St. Lawrence Church. The
congregation greatly enjoyed the occasion, as and much appreciated
the opportunity to meet Bishop Peter when coffee and biscuits were
served afterwards.
He
was here to rededicate the church after the extensive programme of
renovations in recent years, and paid tribute to church wardens Les
and Megan Moore for all their efforts in making this possible.
Also
present at the service was Betty Hole, chairman of the Friends of
Westbury Church, a village charity that has raised more than £20,000
for the fabric fund over the past 10 years.
